Online Application Process Step by Step:
- First Step: It would be to Choose your State be it Delhi or Mumbai and Click on the Apply Link.
- Second Step would be to register on the Swiss Airlines Candidate Profile, this is the first step towards saving your information in the database of the Swiss Airlines. Click on the Apply Now button and moving forward you’ll get the Data Privacy statement which you may read if want and then fill in the security question answer Captcha to move next step.
- Third Step: This is the 1st Page where you need to fill the Basic Data for the Cabin Crew Application. Basic details such as the
- First Name-Last Name
- Date of Birth
- Nationality
- Communication Language
- Your House Address with Zip Code and Country
- Email Address (For the further communication be it the onboarding process or the joining information)
- Phone Number (This is to be used for the quick conversation by the Recruitment Team in case they need any clarification)
- Desired Date (This is the section where you need to mention your availability for Training to commence the Cabin Crew Journey with Swiss Airlines. You can mention the expected date based on your previous employer notice period (If you are working anywhere currently).
- Fourth Step: Let’s Move Forward to the Knowledge Section which is right to the Basic Data Column (You can find the same info on the above snapshot).
- Now we are at the Knowledge section which is the second column which needs to be filled for the Cabin Crew Application Process, here what is required is to mention:
- The Language Skills as above we have mentioned that German or French Language would be a plus for those who know these languages. These are the widely spoken language in the regions where Swiss Airlines Operates mostly.
- Next you need to choose the Language as per your suitability in the language section and as per your skill level you need to choose the language skill level i.e. Basic, Advanced, Fluent, and First Language. If Hindi is your first language then you need to choose it as ‘First Language’.
- Fifth Step: Moving forward from the Knowledge column to Other column-
- Here you need select if you can SWIM or not. (This is the one of critical requirement for the Swiss Cabin Crew, you should know swimming and you need to swim 200m in 15 Mins as well as 1m Deep swim Test which would be assessed by the Swiss Recruitment Assessment Team)
- Declare if have tattoo on your – forearms, face, neck or the neckline. (Select YES or NO as per your status)
- Height selection: Here we can see the height requirement is 155cm which is very lenient if we compare the other airlines in India which require 170cm minimum. So this is the Good News for Indians.
- Sixth Step: Attachment Column!! yes you heard right finally this is the last step in the application submission and after that we will talk about the English Language Assessment. Meanwhile let’s talk about the key things to keep in the mind while attaching the required documents.
- Two Docs are MUST required to upload as you can see the (*) sign in the below snapshot over the upper right corner of CV and Certificates/Diploma.
- Upload the CV first and select the CV from the dropdown menu and then upload the your Highest Degree/Certificate based on the education history.
- Make sure the both of the documents are less then 10Mb.
- CLICK ON THE Check and Submit button below after the uploading both of the documents.
- If everything you have entered is correct in all of the sections i.e. Basic Data, Knowledge, Other, and Attachments then it will be moved forward to the final submission screen. If you find any of the columns are in RED highlight it means something needs to be filled or checked in the specific column.
- After the above process you’ll be on the ‘Overview on your information’ page (For the reference you can see the 2nd snapshot below). Click on the Submit Application button and that’s it. Now it is time to move forward with the further steps which is English Language Assessment.
Swiss Airlines Cabin Crew Interview India 2024 English Language Assessment Test:
Once you are done with the above steps of the application submission and now it is the time to check the English Language Assessment which needs to be passed to move next step of the Cabin Crew Recruitment Process.
You’ll get the first email from Swiss which is attached below. You can see this is the e-mail confirmation message from Swiss Recruitment Team, you would have received the same email by the time you reached this stage. Click on the link in the email and confirm you email address.
After the verification of your email address you’ll get another email which is the Temporary password credential to login on your candidate profile of the Swiss Airlines Portal. This is the same for which we were talking in the First Step of the Application Submission. Here is the second email you can see below. What you need is to click on the link in the email to login into your profile which is the required step for the English Language Assessment and your profile.
Use the Temporary password and the same email address to login into the portal.
After the steps above you’ll be logged in into the profile of the Swiss Airlines, Now do the steps below carefully.
- You can see in below snapshot there are 3 options i.e. Saved – not yet submitted, Submitted – please complete, Submitted.
- You will see your application in the second bracket which is Submitted – please complete.
- Once you click on the the application you’ll see the English Assessment Test in the right side of the same bracket.
- You need to click on the assessment and then you’ll be guided forward to start the 10 Minutes English Assessment which is divided into 3 Parts.
- All the parts would be in the timed manner.
- There will be negative marking, if you select the wrong answer the points will be deducted from the score.
- First Part is Language test – English (Fluency) Here your fluency will be Tested and the Time allotted will be 4 Minutes. You’ll need to select the options from the Objective questions and there will be many questions and you need to select as much as correct options you could select. Don’t select the wrong answers if you don’t know the correct answer. You can select the question mark if you don’t know the correct answer.
- Second Part is Language test – English (Spelling) Here this is 2 Minutes Test to attempt the questions. This is the easy in nature and you need to check the correct spelling from the list of the spellings.
- Third Part is Language test – English (Vocabulary) Here this is 4 Minutes test and you’ll be assessed based on the vocab skills. This may seems difficult but you can do it, take little time and based on the question words arrangement you’ll get the right answer from the multiple choices below the question.
- Thus the Total Test Assessment Time is = 10 Minutes
