New Delhi – SpiceJet Flight which was en route to rescue the passengers to India from the warzone area of Tel Aviv faced technical issues.
In a mission to bring stranded Indians back from Israel, a SpiceJet flight, part of Operation Ajay, experienced a technical glitch. Departing from Delhi, the aircraft was bound for Tel Aviv but had to make an unexpected stop in Jordan for repairs due to its wet lease agreement. The Airbus A340, a crucial part of Operation Ajay, reported the issue after landing in Tel Aviv. Despite this hiccup, SpiceJet remains dedicated to repatriating Indian nationals from Israel, having successfully brought 320 passengers back to Delhi in their first evacuation flight.
As the aircraft was registered under IATA Code of YR-LRD and it is 16.5 yrs old. The aircraft is on Wetlease from Legend Airlines. The data received from Flightradar24 shows that it will depart on 17 Oct 2023 from Amman (AMM) Tel Aviv (TLV) as flight no. SG9995 the estimated time of departure is 01:40 PM and arrival in Tel Aviv is 02:40 PM.
